Tell us how you became an equipment hire specialist?

I’ve spent the last 15 years working either in mining or supporting the industry; and within all the roles I have worked (Diesel Fitter, Maintenance Planner, Supervisor etc), I began to notice a gap in how hard and time consuming it was to secure equipment for day to day and projects needs. So when the opportunity arose, I said to Mrs KBT that we should be the ones to fix that!

Now here we are… sourcing, supplying and if needed our team can maintain and service equipment too.

Tell us how you stepped into Equipment Hire?

I have what feels like my whole lifetime of experience working in local industries within Administration & Event Management; and always noticed just how much time was put into completing comparison pricing and availability from suppliers for the day to day or bigger project work. So when Brent came to me and said this is my plan, I said why not!

Now we have a growing database of fantastic suppliers; we work so many brilliant business owners and project leads and being able to source and supply to a number of industries in our local resources sector.
